Description

PregGuard® GOLD™ FP™ 10 is for vaccination of healthy cows and heifers prior to breeding as an aid in preventing abortion caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus; persistently infected calves caused by bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) Types 1 & 2; respiratory disease caused by IBR, BVD Types 1 & 2 and parainfluenza3 (PI3) virus; campylobacteriosis (vibriosis) caused by Campylobacter fetus; and leptospirosis caused by Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. hardjo, L. icterohaemorrhagiae and L. pomona.

Approved Uses  

-PregGuard GOLD FP 10 may be administered to pregnant cattle, provided they were vaccinated according to label directions with Bovi-Shield® FP™ 4+L5, Bovi-Shield® FP™ 4+VL5, Bovi-Shield® GOLD™ FP™ 5 L5, Bovi-Shield® GOLD™ FP 5 VL5, PregGuard® FP™ 9 or PregGuard® GOLD FP™ 10 within the past 12 months.

-PregGuard GOLD FP 10 may also be administered to calves nursing pregnant cows, provided their dams were vaccinated within the past 12 months as described above.

Advantages

-Contains both BVDV Types 1 & 2 to provide optimum protection against BVDV infection.

-Protection against BVDV Type 1 or Type 2 fetal infection interrupts the cycle of in utero infection and birth of persistently infected calves that perpetuate disease in the herd.

-The only vaccine shown to protect against IBR virus abortions and persistent infection by BVDV Types 1 & 2.

-Shown to be safe when given to pregnant cows or calves nursing pregnant cows provided they were vaccinated within the past 12 months with one of the Bovi-Shield FP or PregGuard FP vaccines.1

-Provides protection against four of the most common bovine viral respiratory diseases, including BVD caused by BVDV Types 1 & 2, IBR, PI3 and BRSV.
