DESCRIPTION:

The Y-TEX TechStar II is an ISO compliant RFID tag that employs full-duplex technology. It is encapsulated in a soft polyurethane material and is intended to be used as livestock ID where exposure to various weather environments, liquids and temperature changes are significant. The tag derives its power from the reader’s electromagnetic field. Each tag contains its own unique code. Numerical visual identification can be hot stamped or laser printed on the tag. Each tag and button weighs only 10.35 grams, making it safe to apply to very young livestock. The tags are applied using the Y-TEX UltraTagger® with the Y-TEX button and the patented Snap-Lok™ collar for superior retention.
