Destron Fearing: Combo e.Tag

E-mail this product to a friend

Digital Angel’s patented combo e.TAG offers the advantages of RFID technology and visual identification in a single product. A Destron tamperproof Full Duplex (FDX-B) Electronic transponder is integrated into laser-markable visual panel tag that is designed specifically for confinement cattle.  The FDX-B technology is ideally suited for harsh environments where electrical noise, moisture, or large metal surfaces are present.  The RFID button style tag is an air coil molded into a high-grade polyure-thane material.  The tag is then sealed using a unique patented process developed by Destron technologies.  All tags are identified with a unique 15-digit numeric ID and 2D bar code.  Special order requests can be arranged to have the visual panel reflect all or a portion of the RFID number.  Tag placement in the ear and environment impediments that can readily snag visual tags can affect retention.
