A readily digestible combination of yeast, magnesium, calcium and potassium formulated for use in high-producing dairy cows immediately after calving. It’s ideal for use in combating fresh cow syndrome during the transition period after calving when cows prepare for the demands of lactation. DIRECTIONS: AT CALVING TIME Administer one pound of FRESH COW YMPC PLUS as soon as possible, immediately after calving. Administer another one pound of FRESH COW YMPC PLUS within 12-18 hours after calving, or an additional two-one half pound doses of FRESH COW YMCP PLUS during the first 24 hours after calving to total two pounds administered with in 24 hours after calving.
DRENCH ADMINISTRATION: FRESH COW YMCP PLUS is convenient to administer as drench suspension by mixing one pound of FRESH COE YMCP PLUS when mixed with warm drinking water,. Drench suspension slowly to permit swallowing. Do not drench cows that are down or struggle excessively with fluids or gels - their swallowing reflexes may be impaired. WATER ADMINISTRATION: Many cows will consume the initial one pound dose of FRESH COW YMCP PLUS when mixed with warm drinking water. The quicker the offering of FRESH COW YMPC PLUS in the drinking water after calving the better the consumption. When adding to the drinking water, mix one-half pound of FRESH COW YMCP PLUS to five gallons of warm water and repeat it again to provide an initial intake of one pound of FRESH COW YMCP PLUS
FEED MIXING OF TOP DRESSING: When feed mixing or top dressing, mix sufficient FRESH COW YMCP PLUS in the total ration or grain ration to provide a daily intake of one pound of FRESH COW YMCP PLUS the first three days after calving. When top dressing, hand mix or disperse FRESH COW YMCP PLUS throughout the grain or total ration.
