Key Features
- Proven, effective, bivalent swine-flu protection. FLUSURE™ aids in the prevention of respiratory disease caused by swine influenza (SIV) subtypes H1N1 and H3N2 – the two subtypes most often diagnosed in U.S. swine herds.
- Safe. In safety studies on hundreds of pigs and pregnant sows, animals vaccinated with FLUSURE showed no systemic reactions. Pigs vaccinated with FLUSURE were 100% injection-site-reaction-free and sows were 99.5% injection-site-reaction-free. Pregnant sows vaccinated with FLUSURE farrowed at similar rates and had pigs born live, born dead and born mummies similar to saline-vaccinated control sows.
- Convenient. The ready-to-use (RTU) formulation provides convenience
- Reduction of lung lesions. Pigs vaccinated with FLUSURE/RESPISURE RTU at 3 and 6 weeks of age showed an 89% reduction in lung lesions caused by a virulent mycoplasma challenged. This study confirmed that FLUSURE does not interfere with RESPISURE®.
- RESPISURE improves daily gain. Controlling mycoplasma pneumonia with RESPISURE improved average daily gain by as much as 21–59 grams/pigs.
- RESPISURE reduces days to market. Pigs vaccinated with RESPISURE reached market weight an average of 4 to 11 days sooner as a result of a decrease in mycoplasma pneumonia.
