A new model of the Osborne ID Logger™ hand-held data logger.

The ID Logger hand-held is used to read all ISO-compliant radio-frequency identification (RFID) transponders.  Production data are immediately entered for the identified animal in the barn or feedlot where observations are made without resorting to paper notes, eliminating data transcription errors.  Such data is an immediate and reliable resource to producers and is automatically shared with PC data management software.

The 500 ID Logger retains the proven durability of the 300 series with its rugged design, back-lit multi-line display, and practical keyboard with large, easily used touchpad.  The 500 series adds an ergonomic grip, choice of interchangeable antennas, an option to include Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a RS232 option.  The improved read range of the 500 series and the ability to interchange short and long antennas improves the utility of the new ID Logger hand-held.
